2011 Nebraska Sandhills Whitetail Trophy

After five years of frustration and a missed shot or two, I was finally able to add a whitetail buck to my trophy room. The whitetail buck quest has been my most difficult to date, because they are extremely wary and reclusive, sensitive to any change in their environment. These great creatures tested my patience, desire and attitude.

This 170-inch 6-by-5 beauty finally gave me a shot in the last hour of my four-day hunt with Deer Meadows Outfitters.
